I am a political scientist who specializes in American politics, religion and politics, political parties, interest groups, social movements, political behavior, and elections. My dissertation research was on Christian Right interest groups. Some of my other interests include environmental policy, fiscal policy, and food and energy policy.

My M.A. is from the University of Central Florida and my Ph.D. is from the University of Florida.
